A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Lewiston, ME. This opportunity involves providing skilled therapy services within a school setting for the remainder of the current school year. The role requires strong experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and familiarity with school-based therapy environments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 10-15 students in grades 1, 3, and 5 Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educational staff Collect and document data related to student progress and therapy outcomes Develop and write measurable therapy goals tailored to students' needs Potentially complete speech and language evaluations as needed Schedule and Duration: Hours: 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM Workdays: Two days per week, schedule to be determined Contract duration: Through June 12 or the end of the school year On-site work only; virtual or remote services are not available Qualifications: Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Experience in pediatric speech therapy and working within a school environment Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred Skilled in conducting evaluations, writing goals, and delivering evidence-based therapy This role offers a unique chance to impact the lives of young learners by providing essential speech and language support.
